Cumulus Media’s Westwood One is launching a new weeknight CHR music program, “Nightly with Jade & Tyler,” debuting Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
The five-hour show will air Monday through Friday from 7pm to midnight, delivering current Top 40 hits alongside music and entertainment conversation led by hosts Jade Jones and Tyler Frye. The program is designed to engage listeners both on-air and across social platforms, combining hit-driven music with real-time social interaction and pop culture commentary.
Jade Jones joins Westwood One from afternoons at Cumulus Media CHR “Q 99.7” WWWQ Atlanta, bringing a background that blends music, entertainment and culture with an emphasis on individuality and representation. Her approach is focused on audience connection, particularly with women and underrepresented communities, while maintaining a high-energy, contemporary sound.
Tyler Frye, a Chicago native, comes to the network from co-owned CHR “107.3 The Vibe” KMJK Kansas City, where he was heard in mornings. His career includes on-air roles in major markets such as Tampa, Denver, Raleigh, Houston and Kansas City, and he is known for his knowledge of current music trends and approachable on-air style.
“Jade and Tyler bring an unmistakable spark to weeknights,” said Collin Jones, President of Westwood One. “Their mix of music, personality and real-time social connection gives stations a fresh, dynamic edge audiences feel immediately. If it’s trending, they’re on it. If it’s hot, they’re playing it.”
Jade said the show is built around creating a sense of connection with listeners nationwide. “I want our listeners to feel like they genuinely know us, like friends they check in with every night,” she said, calling the program “a safe space for real conversations, exciting life moments and growth.”
Frye described the new role as a career milestone, adding, “This is the ultimate dream of mine. I can’t wait to co-host with Jade and bring this energy to listeners across the country.”
“Nightly with Jade & Tyler” succeeds “The Elliot Show” hosted by Elliot King, originally launched in January 2022 as “Elliot & Nina” with co-host Nina Hajian, who joined the nationally syndicated “The Jubal Show” in April 2023.
