Spare rooms, cafés, community halls and bedroom studios. No engineers, no contracts.
“I run a show from my spare room with a $40 USB mic. Scheduled a month of episodes in one Sunday afternoon — and my Sunday numbers tripled. I still can't quite believe the free tier let me do any of this.”
“Our community station had no budget for an engineer. The scheduler and play logs do what our old volunteer spreadsheet did, except it's never wrong. We finally filed our cue sheets on time.”
“First month on the Creator plan I sold 14 track downloads to people who'd been asking for years. It was $180 — not rent money, but it's the first money my music has ever made on its own.”
“The AI DJ was the thing I was most skeptical about, honestly. But the overnight block now sounds like a real station, and it hands back to me at 6am exactly like it's supposed to. Ad share covered the plan cost in month two.”
“We play it in the café all day through the Roku player. Customers ask what the station is constantly — and we didn't have to license a single track ourselves.”
“Moving our four-station network over took one evening, not the week we'd blocked out for it. The station manager shows everything on one screen and support actually answers.”
One email a week: new shows and stations, the most played tracks, fresh records in the DJ pool, new podcasts, magazine reads, shop picks and what changed on the platform. Opt in below, leave whenever you like.
Weekly, written with AI assistance from our own listings and reviewed by our team. We never share your address.
Not yet — every station gets a public page and installable listener app on our domain, plus an embeddable player you can drop into any site you own. Custom domain mapping is on the roadmap.
Anything Icecast/Shoutcast compatible: BUTT, Mixxx, RadioDJ, OBS, Rocket Broadcaster, or our in-browser studio.
Create an account, pick a plan, upload at least one track in /host/content, then open /host/console and hit Go Live — or enable the 24/7 Auto Station at /admin/auto-station to broadcast automatically without any encoder.
Yes. Turn on the 24/7 Auto Station and it rotates your music, injects AI DJ voices via Fish Audio TTS, reads RSS news breaks, drops in AI weather segments, and inserts paid audio ads on the cadence you choose.
Open /host/schedule to build daypart programming clocks — recurring weekly slots for live shows, auto-rotation blocks, replays, and ad breaks. The scheduler flags overlap conflicts before you save and hands off to Auto Station between live shows.
Yes. Upload the audio in /host/content, then in /host/schedule create a slot bound to that file. Weekly and one-off replays are supported, and episodes are also archived to /stations/<slug>/episodes for on-demand listening.
MP3 and AAC over Icecast/Shoutcast for encoders, RTMP for OBS-style live, and canonical HLS ABR packaging out to listeners. Uploaded media is auto-normalized to -14 LUFS with true-peak protection.
Hobbyist supports small audiences on shared CDN, Pro scales to thousands with a custom CDN slot, and Network is built for multi-station operators with priority delivery. There are no hard listener caps — bandwidth simply follows your plan.
The Auto Station watchdog self-heals stalled rotations, transcodes auto-retry, and the Station Console shows real-time uptime metrics. If your live encoder drops, the platform falls back to Auto Station so listeners never hear silence.
We provide auto-generated cue sheets and play logs for SoundExchange, PPL, GEMA, SOCAN, and most major PROs. Every spin is timestamped with ISRC when known.
Every time a station streams a Wowzaradio Sync track, revenue accrues to the rights holder(s). Artists (and labels, when attached) set a per-track stream price of $0–$10 per 1,000 listener-hours. Admins configure the artist/label split per track — both sides must total 100%. Your tier determines your cut: Starter 70%, Pro 80%, Network 85%, Pay-as-you-go 60%.
PayPal-only payouts. Starter / Pro / Pay-as-you-go tiers pay monthly, Network tier pays weekly. A $25 minimum balance applies — anything below rolls to the next cycle. Add your PayPal email under Creator → Earnings & Payouts to be included in the next batch.
Artists and labels set their own per-track stream price. Admins configure split percentages between artist and label per track, and run scheduled or on-demand PayPal payout batches from the Royalty Splits tab. All roles get real-time analytics: revenue, plays, pending balance, and payout history.
Yes. Our import tool brings over your media library, playlists, and schedules in one click.
Your stream stays online — we'll notify you and let you upgrade when ready. No surprise charges, ever.
Studio Hotline is a free call-in booth built into every station page. Listeners record song requests, shoutouts, sweepstakes entries, or general call-ins right from their browser, and hosts review them in a private inbox at /host/hotline. You can upload a custom audio greeting or generate one with your own Cartesia API key.
Call-To-Listen lets you link a dedicated phone number to your stream so listeners can tune in by dialing a phone number. It is free on every plan, including Hobbyist. It's especially useful for listeners with limited data, older handsets, or visual impairments.
Free accounts that stay quiet — no host sign-ins and no listeners tuning in — move through a 4-step ladder over 90 days. A quiet host with real listeners is never considered dormant. You can reset the clock anytime with one click from the warning banner.
Day 21 — Friendly nudge: an email that the station is quiet; nothing changes. Day 30 — Automation paused: Auto Station and scheduled jobs stop, and the station leaves the public directory, but your files stay put. Day 45 — Files cleared: uploads and recordings are removed after a download link is emailed to you; your account, station settings, and history remain. Day 90 — Account deleted: after a final notice at day 88, the account is permanently deleted. Each step gives you a one-click 'keep my account' button that fully restores everything before that step's damage is done.
Yes. Every stage sends an email with a 'keep my account' link, and the warning banner inside the dashboard has the same button. One click resets the inactivity clock, lifts any pause, and puts you back on the directory — as long as you do it before day 90. After deletion the account is gone for good.
At the day-30 pause we email a 50% off code (COMEBACK50) good on your first months of Starter. It's a one-per-person perk: our signup ledger fingerprints your email so the same discount can't be claimed again from a second account. Use it during the pause window before assets are cleared.
No. Paid plans are never deleted for inactivity. After 90 days of true inactivity a paid account may be suspended (automation paused, directory hidden) but the account, files, and settings are preserved until the subscription is cancelled. The 21/30/45/90 ladder only applies to free accounts.
