Faced with the loss of federal funding, public radio stations are being more aggressive about monetizing where they can. That has led New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) to ink an exclusive sales partnership with the podcast agency The Podglomerate. Under the arrangement, The Podglomerate will serve as the exclusive sales partner for podcasts produced by the public broadcaster, leveraging its expertise to maximize revenue for the shows.

NHPR has been among the most successful public radio stations operating in the podcast space, producing shows like “Bear Brook,” “The 13th Step,” and “Civics 101,” among others. Through the end of September 2025, NHPR’s podcasts averaged more than one million total downloads per month. And its shows have recorded more than 93 million all-time downloads.

As part of the relationship, NHPR will also gain access to The Podglomerate’s ad tech stack, including the Megaphone hosting platform, access to programmatic marketplaces including Spotify’s SPAN, AdsWizz, Frequency, RedCircle’s OpenRAP, Soundstack, and Consumable —and podcast attribution tools from Magellan, Swap.fm, Podscribe, and Megaphone, as well as Flightpath forecasting tools, Bumper’s data management systems, and dynamic feed drop technology from Introcast and Podroll.

Founded in 2017, The Podglomerate has become a destination for podcast growth, production, and monetization services. It represents more than 90 shows reaching hundreds of millions of listeners. To date, The Podglomerate says it has paid more than $3 million to creators.
