What is a Wowzaradio city affiliate?
A Hobbyist member approved to represent one city on the Wowzaradio network. You run a local station page, sell local ads and sponsor spots, bring in new station owners, and earn a share of every actual sale.
Who can apply?
Hobbyist members only. The program is designed so you can earn your way to a bigger plan. If you later upgrade using your earnings, you keep your city.
How much does the city licence cost?
$99.00, with nothing to pay upfront. Pay it off automatically with 50% of each earning, or in 10 monthly instalments of $9.99.
How much can I earn?
60% of local ads and sponsor spots you sell, 25% of new hosting members' payments for their first 12 months, and 15% of add-on, shop and music sales through your link. Earnings come only from completed sales; refunds are reversed. There is no guaranteed income.
When do I get paid?
Earnings are held 30 days, then you can use them as upgrade credit worth 125% of their value, or cash out by PayPal from $25.00.
Is my city exclusive?
Yes. One affiliate per city. A city is held while we review your application, and released if it has no sales or station activity for 6 months.
Can I sell my city licence?
Yes, once it is paid off, to a buyer our team approves. You keep 90% of the sale price; Wowzaradio keeps 10% (minimum $5).
Is approval automatic?
No. Our team reviews every application personally and contacts you at the email you give.
