Privacy Policy

Account data. Email address, display name, avatar, and the plan you subscribe to. If you sign in with Google we receive your email, name and profile image only.

Station data. Station names, artwork, playlists, uploaded audio, schedules, automation settings, and stream ingest configuration you create as a host.

Listening & analytics data. Play events, session length, approximate geographic region derived from IP, device/browser type, embed player views, and advertising impressions. We do not build advertising profiles of individual listeners.

Payment & payout data. Subscription status and transaction records. Card details are handled by our payment processors and never stored on our servers. Payout identifiers (such as a PayPal email) are stored with restricted access and are readable only by you and payout staff.

Support & AI assistant data. Messages you send to support or to the in-app assistant, so we can answer you and improve guidance.

To operate your station and stream audio, to run automation and AI features you enable, to calculate royalties and revenue share, to bill subscriptions and pay out earnings, to detect abuse and enforce our terms, and to provide analytics dashboards and compliance reporting (cue sheets, loudness logs).

We process data to perform our contract with you (your membership), for legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), to meet legal obligations (tax, royalty reporting), and with your consent where required (for example optional marketing email).

We share data with infrastructure and service providers acting on our instructions: cloud hosting and database, streaming/CDN delivery, email delivery, payment and payout processors, and the AI providers you choose to enable for voice, music or text generation. Public station metadata (name, artwork, genre, now playing, and published schedules) is visible across the network and to third-party directories by design.

We do not sell personal data.

When you connect your own API keys (Gemini, Fish Audio, MusicGPT, ElevenLabs and others) they are stored encrypted, scoped to your account, and used only to fulfil requests you trigger. You can remove a key at any time from AI settings. Prompts and generated audio are sent to the provider you selected under their terms.

Account and station content is kept while your account is active. Analytics events are retained in aggregate form. Billing and royalty records are kept as long as required by law. Dormant accounts may be archived after 90 days of inactivity, and deleting a station removes its media, schedules and rotation.

You may access, correct, export or delete your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Most of this is self-service: profile settings, CSV exports in analytics, and station deletion in the studio. For anything else contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember player and studio preferences, and measure aggregate embed player usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Wowzaradio is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires).
