Dormant account policy

Free accounts that go unused are handled in gentle steps, with emails before anything changes. "Activity" means you signing in, or a listener tuning in to one of your stations — a quiet host with real listeners is never dormant.

Free accounts: what happens and when

  1. Day 21 without activity
    Friendly nudge

We email you that the station has been quiet. Nothing changes — one click puts you back on air.

  2. Day 30 without activity
    Automation paused

Auto Station and scheduled jobs stop and the station leaves the public directory. Your files stay put, and you get a discount on your first months of Starter.

  3. Day 45 without activity
    Files cleared

Uploads and recordings are removed after a download link is emailed to you. The account, station settings and history remain.

  4. Day 90 without activity
    Account deleted

After a final notice at day 88, the account is permanently deleted.

Complete station profile required

New free stations must have a complete, active page within 7 days of creation: a name, description, genre, cover image or logo, a working stream (gone live or AutoDJ set up), and a scheduled show or published host profile. Stations that are not finished are hidden from the public until they are — the owner can still sign in and complete them, and the station comes back automatically.

Keeping your account

Signing in at any time resets the clock. Every reminder email also has a one-click "Keep my account" link. When a station is paused, you can use code COMEBACK50 for 50% off your first 3 months of a paid plan.

Paid accounts

Paid accounts are never deleted for inactivity. After 90 days without activity they may be suspended, and our team can restore them instantly.
